What to do when you feel unaligned?

Recently I have been feeling so uncentered.
It's like I can see my bigger vision, my dreams, hopes, desires, me on a grand scheme as my highest self, but can’t find the motivation or drive to get there. But then I get frustrated with myself because I am not showing up as ME.
I have stopped posting on social media as much especially on stories because I just am being consumed by self-doubt at the moment.
I knew I didn’t want to show up like this. I was showing up as ruby 3/10, not 10/10
So how am I navigating this?
Well firstly, this is a result of burnout and little work-life balance.
When I try to burn the candle at both ends I end up exhausting myself and I lose all motivation and drive to want to level up.
Now I really go hard or go home when it comes to leveling up, I can’t just do little bits every day and stay consistent, I want to do it all at once, I hit the ground running, have a couple of great weeks then boom… motivation and drive lost. Now I am calling myself out on my own bullshit here because I know consistency is key and that I really am only failing myself by having this all-or-nothing approach.
So step one is taking a look at my current monthly schedule and seeing where I have reasonable time to do the work on my big goals, dreams, and visions. Rather than not planning for it, and telling myself “I have no time”
Today I sat down with my planner, jotted down all my upcoming shifts at work, time at the gym, dinner with friends, and then looked at where I had a 1-2 hour gap every day for personal development and goal work.
And here is what I came up with… every morning once I've woken up I’ve spent 10-25 minutes on my phone. So I am creating the habit that until I am downstairs I won’t check my social media. This time is now spent doing my visualization and morning affirmations, before journaling. This takes me a total of 20 minutes and will have a much greater impact on my day than a social media scroll.
Next, while on public transport and driving in the car I usually listen to filthy bangers and sing, or am once again social media scrolling.. Now, this is being replaced with listening to personal development or business podcasts, and when on the train - watching youtube videos regarding how to build a business, or developing/learning a skill.
All once again 10x better than a tiktok scroll.
Next is time blocking, I went through my schedule to find the 1-2 hour blocks, and twice a week blocked them completely out for working towards my business and goals. Ie, the podcast, youtube, the blog, social media, content creation, life coaching course… you name it. Now this, this is ME time. No phone, no other plans or errands, I treat this time like it’s work. I can’t just not show up cause I got a better offer.
PLAN PLAN PLAN. Take this next bit of advice with a grain of salt, because everyone is different. But I like to plan what things I need to get done in a list of priorities. The top 3 priorities are the things I do that week, the next three get rostered for the next week, or the “if I have time” segment.
Another aspect that is very important is conscious awareness and showing up with intention. This skill takes time but consistency makes it grow so strong that your awareness is second nature.
I like to become really aware of what I am doing, and this can look something like this
*** mindlessly scrolling on tiktok***
Internal dialogue: “Ruby is this really worthy of your time? Could you be doing something more productive?”
“Yes, I could be” *** turns off phone***
It sounds silly but I have this dialogue with myself and catch myself out when I notice that I am wasting my own time.
Social media was created with the help of professional gamblers to help keep you on the app, which is why it's like a rabbit hole.
It's why I can go to pee, and not realize I’ve just wasted 20 minutes looking at my phone.

Little tips that help me stay driven and motivated:
Keeping a Clean environment = productivity and a clear mind
Vision Board = maintains my drive for what I am working towards
Journalling my goals = helps me to reflect on where I am headed and what I may need to change as well as navigating roadblocks
Listening to self-development and business podcasts = helps keep a positive and driven mindset full of ambition and creativity
Surrounding yourself with driven and ambitious people = enhances drive and maintains excitement towards your goals
Affirmations and visualizations = maintaining a positive and abundant mindset to manifest and attract the life I want
Falling IN LOVE with the idea of your future = excitement to work on my future
This life can be all you want it to be, you just need to take one step everyday.
